MySQL
Query MySQL from a native Codon application, or compile a calculation into a MySQL user-defined function. The client handles application-side queries and updates; a server function executes as part of a SQL expression.
Client applications connect to an ordinary server without an extension. Server functions require permission to install native code. Both target Oracle MySQL 8.0 or newer; consult the compatibility table before choosing a platform. MariaDB is not supported.
