Redis

Connect to Redis from a native Codon application or extend the server with custom commands. The client provides typed access to Redis data structures; server modules combine Redis operations and bounded calculations in one command.

Use the client guide for caching, counters, and stream processing. The command guide covers handlers that execute inside Redis, where their duration also affects other clients.

Choose a Guide​

  • Client applications: work with keys, pipelines, transactions, streams, and Pub/Sub.
  • Server commands: combine Redis operations into a custom native command.
  • Deployment: configure runtime libraries and replace modules safely.

Install the all-SDK distribution and use a development Redis instance for the examples, which write and update keys.
