Run custom calculations inside DuckDB queries while SQL handles filtering, joins, and aggregation. Functions compiled with Codon execute natively, without a Python callback for each row.

Choose a [loadable extension](https://platform.exaloop.io/db/duckdb/extension/) for an existing DuckDB CLI or Python workflow. For a standalone executable, [embed DuckDB](https://platform.exaloop.io/db/duckdb/client/) and register the same function directly in the application.
